Larry Edward Stout, 76, of Ellenboro, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Carehaven of Pleasants in Belmont, WV.
Larry was born May 15, 1945, in the Greenbrier Community of Doddridge County, WV, a son of the late Edward Lee and Willadeen Ann “Pud” (McClain) Stout. He was a graduate of Doddridge County High School with the class of 1964. Larry retired from Chemical Leaman Tank Lines of Friendly, WV where he worked as a truck driver for over 30 years. After retirement, he worked as a part time school bus driver for Ritchie County Board of Education, and he also worked for Mike and Mark Hall driving truck. Larry was a member of the Highland Community Church and he greatly enjoyed spending time at the cabin which is on the family homesite in the Greenbrier Community of Doddridge County. He loved hunting, fishing, and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Belle Marie (Moses) Stout who were united in marriage on April 8, 1965; his children, Wayne Alan Stout (Melissa) of Jacksonville, FL and Lisa Ann Howell (Mitchell) of Harrisville, WV; daughter in law, Jessica Stout of Williamstown, WV; grandchildren, Cassidy Howell (Casey), Lyndon Moore, Olivia Stout, Emma Howell; great grandchildren, Treyton and Colson Tanzey, along with his brothers, Ron Stout (Jackie) of Pontiac, MI and Mike Stout (Louise) of Ellenboro, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Edward Jason “Jay” Stout and his brother, Monty Stout.
Funeral services will be 1pm, Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV with Joseph and Samuel Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery in Newport, OH. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm, on Saturday, at the funeral home.
