Cathy Lynne Bonnell, age 59, of Salem, WV, after a six-month battle with cancer, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving children and selflessly caring sister Trina.
Cathy was born August 12th, 1961, to the late James and Virginia Bonnell.
Cathy liked to go to thrift stores and yard sales, and collected primitives, and was very proud of her home, affectionately known as “The Farm”. She enjoyed Steelers and WVU football, reading books and watching movies. She loved her “6 grandbabies” and had a close personal relationship with Jesus, and prayed daily.
Cathy is survived by her two daughters, Virginia Greene of Salem WV, and Stephanie Greene of Clarksburg WV; grandchildren, Justice, Jayden, and Jeonah Underwood, Salem and Khamber Baker, Clarksburg; Seven siblings, Donna Brestel and husband Craig, of Muskogee OK, Judy Fry of Salem, Tim Bonnell and wife Kathy of West Union WV, Trina Ash and husband Kevin of Salem WV, Slick Bonnell of Clarksburg WV, Kelly Harris of Seattle WA, and Gloria Bonnell of Clarksburg WV; She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, and the Ringer family, of Weirton WV.
