Adrienne Norris, 84 of Sunfish Dr. West Union departed this life on Friday, March 12, 2021. She was born on September 4, 1936 at Nutter Fort, to the late Adrian Jenkins and Lucille Henshaw Jenkins. She was a 1954 graduate of Grafton High School. On December 22, 1954 she married Richard “Dick” Norris who preceded her in death in 2005.
Surviving are two daughters, Kimberlee Holland, Greenwood, Lisa Fuller and husband Ron, Suffolk, VA, two sons, Richard Norris and wife Melissa Criss, Sanford, N.C. Christopher Norris and wife Kelly, Lexington, KY. grandchildren, Trey and Hunter Holland, Ashley Steele, Ally Norris, Emily, Abby and Ethan Norris.
Mrs. Norris was a receptionist in the Emergency Department, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH. She was co-owner of Norris Insurance Company where she held her Property and Casualty Insurance License. Adrienne was a member of Naomi Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Grafton. She had been a Girl Scout Leader and a member of All Sports Mothers. She enjoyed dancing, reading, gardening, cooking, puzzles, playing golf and spending time with her grandchildren. Adrienne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
