Meeting was called to order by Mayor James D. Friend at 6:01 PM.
Present: Mayor Friend. Council Members: Mark Younkin, Colby Jett, Myla Thorpe, Recorder: Melody Gray, Robin A. Valentine, City Clerk Office Assistant
Prayer: A moment of silence was observed.
Pledge: Led by Mayor Friend
New Business: B&O and 1% Sales Tax – discussion/Set a public hearing date: There was a discussion on the Home Rule City and if needed. Maybe it would be best if the Council members take packet home and read through. Mark Younkin wants to check to see the advantages or disadvantages of being a Home Rule City.
Mark Younkin made a motion to table the setting of the Public Meeting until all have a chance to look at the packet. Colby Jett seconded the motion. Unanimous approval
There was a discussion on the various leaks the Town is dealing with right now.
Colby Jett made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mark Younkin seconded the motion. Unanimous approval.
