Teena Marie Hall Freeman

   Teena Marie Hall Freeman, 61 of Salem went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport.  She was born on April 4, 1959 in Pikeville, KY a daughter of the Rita Boyd Hurd, Pikeville, KY and the late Charles Hall.  Her husband Pastor John R. Freeman survives.

   Also surviving are two daughters, Jondelyn Freeman and Mary Ann Freeman, both of Salem, grandson, Adam Feathers, sister, Connie Bolden, Pikeville, KY, brother, Chuck Hall, Pikeville, KY.

   Teena received her Bachelor and Masters degrees in Religious Education from Mountain Baptist College where she served as Registrar.  She was secretary to Varner & Van Volkenburg Law Office, Clarksburg and also worked as a secretary at Harbert Funeral Home, Salem. . Teena was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and helped with various activities in the church.

   Funeral services were conducted in the Lighthouse Baptist Church 291 W. Main St. Salem on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Evangelist George Griffis presiding.  Entombment will in Everlasting Life Mausoleum, Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Quiet Dell.  The family received friends in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 2-8 p.m.    In keeping with CDC guidelines mask were worn and social distancing was  practiced.
