Donna Lee (Primm) Williams

   Donna Lee (Primm) Williams, 86, of Evans, WV (formerly of Pennsboro) was born in Cabin Run (Doddridge County) on January 8, 1935 to C. Hall and Lorena (Smith) Primm. Donna passed away on February 2, 2021 at Eldercare in Ripley. She was predeceased by her parents and three brothers; Charles (Ethel), Olin, and Loren Primm.

   Donna was a 1953 graduate of Doddridge County High School, a longtime member of Pennsboro United Methodist Church and a 68-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She retired from Consumers Gas Utility Company in 2000 with 34 years of service.

   Surviving Donna are her husband of 56 years, Paul O. Williams; their son, Phillip O. (Kelli) of Evans; grandchildren, Drew Foutty (Alesha) of Sissonville, Brienne Roush (Joshua) of Evans, Perri Williams of Gardiner, ME and Tucker Williams of Evans; three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Elias and Sophia Roush; sisters in law, Mary Virginia Primm and Ruth Ann Primm; several nieces, nephews and a large extended family she loved dearly.

   Donna had a servant’s heart and spent her entire life taking care of others. She was always first to volunteer in the various activities of the ladies’ ministry at church and spent her free time in service to her community in ways too numerous to list. Donna also enjoyed quilting, reading, and baking sweets for 

those she loved.

   Due to COVID and the vulnerability of many family members, there was  a walk-through visitation for the public on Saturday, February 6th from 9:00 a.m. to noon at McCullough Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro. The family was not be present. A private (family only) funeral, officiated by Rev. Kelly Martin,began at 1:30 p.m. and was live-streamed on the McCullough-Rogers & Raiguel Facebook page. Burial will be at Cabin Run Cemetery.

   We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Eldercare. Donna could not have had a more loving environment in which to spend her final days.

   For more than 50 years, Donna was overseer and raised money for the maintenance and upkeep of Cabin Run Cemetery.
