Zelda “Delores” Henning, 70 of West Union passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at her residence with family by her side. She was born September 16, 1950 in Clarksburg, WV daughter of the late Roy and Genevieve Williams Jones.
Delores was a homemaker. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Greenwood, WV and enjoyed talking about the bible. She loved gardening, planting flowers, being outside and spending time with her loving family.
Delores is survived by her husband Charles Roscoe Henning Jr. whom she married on January 25, 1969; two children, Deanna Renae Smith and Jay R, West Union, Charles R Henning III and Shellie, West Union; five grandchildren, Atlanta Henning, Jayla Smith, Kaylee Smith, Jesse Skidmore, Brianna Wietek; two great grandchildren, Brantlee and Evelyn; two siblings, Linda Kay Reed, Bridgpeort, John Jones, Clarksburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by four siblings, Wanda Nicholson, Margaret Jones, Daniel Jones and Robert “Bob” Jones.
