West Virginia University- Extension Service Doddridge County

Pause in Programming

WVU Extension Service continues to monitor the spread of COVID 19 throughout the state. Last fall/early winter, they announced they would halt in-person events until January 19. After discussion, review of state data and information from state health officials, state leaders, and WVU leadership, they are going to extend this pause of face-to-face programming until March 1, 2021. They will continue to re-evaluate face-to-face programming and make decisions, as appropriate.

This includes all 4-H, CEOS, and any Doddridge County Extension related programming.

St. Clara Supernovas News

The St. Clara Supernovas have been serving their community despite the pandemic. With the help of their neighboring CEOS Club, Fallen Timber, they provided residents at Childers Manor with baskets of fruit and cookies that the members had prepared in their own homes.

They also made and delivered 8 soup/cracker/fruit baskets to local elderly or shut-in community members.

Great job to the Supernovas for striving to “Make the Best Better”!
