Note

Thank-you

From Jamie Lou Moran

Thirty-four years ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to enter public service by working in the Doddridge County Clerks office with Janice Ellifritt Cox, the newly elected county clerk. At that time, I had no idea what the future would bring.

My professional journey here had been amazing as in 1996 I was elected to the position of Magistrate. The privilege to serve as Magistrate for 24 years has been a rewarding experience.   I appreciated the confidence, you the Doddridge County Citizens, have shown me for that I thank you.

So effective December 31, 2020 I will retire from this position. Leaving is such sweet sorrow and it makes me mindful of how great this journey has been. Life is about moving on and remembering the friendships I have made that will remain in my heart forever.

A Special thanks to Janet Nicholson who has been my loyal assistant for all these years. She will always be a true special friend. I want to thank Candi Rollins, Heather Richards and Olivia Adams. We worked together well and have made a lot of memories along the way. I wish you all the best.

I will close the door to the past and open the door to the future, take a deep breath and step on through and start a new chapter in my life retirement. Thanking all of Doddridge County I am.

Happy New and Good Bless
