Charlene Janet Underwood Fisher

   Charlene Janet Underwood Fisher, 74 of Big Battle Community. Salem departed this life of natural causes on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Steubenville, OH the only daughter of the late Harold and Irene Greathouse Underwood.  

   Surviving are two daughters, Lilly Wine, Salem, Laurene “Reney” Cook Salem, 7 grandchildren, Devin Wine, Cory Chipps, Ashby Cayton, Alicia Daly, Alexis Dillon, Abby and Max Cook, 4 great grandchildren, brothers, Dee Underwood, East Liverpool, OH, Stan  Underwood, Pittsburgh, PA,  Tom Underwood her twin brother, Smithfield, OH, Pig, Donnie, Mike and Randy Underwood all of Salem, numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Kay Chipps, two brothers, Denny and Bud Underwood.

   Charlene was a former employee of Salem College and had owned and operated Charlene’s Café in Center Point.  She was a member of Welcome Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

   Funeral services were conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 2 p.m. with Dexter Underwood presiding.  Interment followed in the Center Point Cemetery.  The family received friends in the funeral home chapel after 10 a.m. until time of service.
