Laramie Blue Davis, 32 of Franks Run Center Point departed this life on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at his residence. He was born on September 17, 1988 in Clarksburg a son of Gregory Compton, Clarksburg and Sherry Davis, Salem.
Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Kathie and Larry Davis, Salem, paternal grandparents, Warren and Judy Compton, Fairmont, aunt and uncle Terry and Little Mike Underwood, Salem, first cousins Kendra Mercer and husband Brian, Salem, John Underwood and wife Brittany, Salem. and numerous friends.
Laramie was a 2007 graduate of East Fairmont High School where he played football and was known as “Cowboy”. He had attended Fairmont University where he studied business and played Rugby. He was a former employee in the Oil & Gas Business. Laramie had a generous heart. He enjoyed hunting, riding four wheelers on his grandfather’s farm, spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his buddies swimming in the river, attending outdoor festivals and camping.
A memorial service was conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Robert Marino presiding. The family received friends in the funeral home chapel from 12 noon until time of service. Masks and social distancing is mandatory during visitation and service.
