Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Doddridge County Veteran’s Day tradition of holding a parade and dinner in honor of all Veterans was canceled this year.
Instead, on the Eleventh Month, Eleventh Day at the Eleventh Hour, in Honor of those who served our Country, county citizens quietly came together at the Veterans’ Memorial in West Union for a laying of a wreath, recited the Pledge of Allegiance and Reverends Tommy Zimmerman and Gilbert Neely held prayer.
