CHANGE IN Doddridge County School’s Schedule

In compliance with Governor Jim Justice’s Executive Order, Doddridge County Schools is changing its schedule for November 30th through December 4th.

November 30th, December 1st, and December 2nd will now be Remote Learning Days for all students.  This means that there will not be in-person instruction on those days.  We will have in-person instruction on Thursday, December 3rd, and Friday December 4th.  Friday December 4th is being changed from a NTID day to a day of in-person instruction.

These changes do not affect the week of Thanksgiving.  These changes only affect the week after Thanksgiving.

Governor Justice also announced that Winter Sports (Wrestling, Boys and Girls Basketball, Cheerleading and Swimming) will not begin until January 11th.  Fall sports will continue.

In compliance with the Governor’s Orders, and in consultation with our local Health Department, we will continue to use a staggered schedule for the month of December.  We will post the entire December schedule shortly.

   Meal Delivery:

For students currently attending Virtually, you will continue to receive meal delivery on Monday’s and Thursday’s.  The meal delivery on November 19th will have additional meals for the following week.

Backpack families will continue to receive food on Thursday.

Those attending school in-person will have 5 meals delivered on Friday, November 20th, and will also receive meals on Monday November 30th, Tuesday, December 1st, and Wednesday December 2nd.
