From Adam Cheeseman, DC Superintendent of Schools

Doddridge County Schools turned GOLD on the Saturday School Metric map for October, 24th. This means that Doddridge County Schools will be moving to a Blended Model beginning Monday, October 26th. Students will be in-person for two days per week and will learn virtually for three days per week. All buildings will be closed for cleaning on Fridays. Each Friday will be a NTID (Non-Traditional Instructional Day. No live virtual instruction will occur on Fridays; but students will be engaged in a variety of activities and teachers will be available to answer questions. Students involved in College course credit classes will continue to have live instruction on Friday. This step is necessary to reduce Coronavirus exposure to our students and staff. Fewer students on our buses will also decrease potential exposure to our children. This plan will also help with our Substitute Teacher shortage.
