Anna Louise Whitehair

 Anna Louise Whitehair, 78, of Greenwood, WV, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend fell asleep in death on October 14, 2020, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.

   Anna was born September 10, 1942, in Pennsboro, WV.  She is the daughter of the late Juanita Blake and Cecil Moore.  Anna was well known for her love of her God, Jehovah.  She was a faithful servant of Jehovah God for 54 years, attending meetings at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Greenwood, WV.  Her true passion in life was teaching others about Jehovah Gods Kingdom and her Biblical Hope of living forever on Paradise on Earth.  She doted on her dog, Shadow, who was her loving companion.  Anna was very hospitable, loved to cook for people and was well known for her biscuits and cheesy potatoes.  She had a green thumb in her garden and was passionate about her flowers.  She never met a stranger and gave wonderful hugs.  She will be missed by so many until we see her again. 

   Anna worked at the garment factory in Ritchie County, she was a cook at Doddridge County schools, and worked for the Doddridge County Senior Center. 

   She is survived by her daughters, Becky Muterspaugh (Jerry) of Salem, VA; Sharon Huffman of Clarksburg, WV; Loretta Morrison (Steve) of Parkersburg, WV; son, Eric Whitehair (Andrea) of Glenville, WV; sisters, Paula Bunner (Danny) of Pennsboro, WV and Penny Britton (Barry) of Prescott, AZ; grandchildren, Amber, Cody, Kelsey, Taylore, Jon, Tiffany, Jessica, Derek, Tina, and Samuel, as well as great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brady Whitehair, children, Bonnie Whitehair, Ronald Whitehair, Angela Whitehair, Judy Whitehair, brother, Johnny Moore and sisters, Pamela Hartman and Daisy Shepherd. 

   In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated and internment will be at the Buck Run Cemetery near Pennsboro, WV.  McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV is in charge of the arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
