The Doddridge County Public Library would like to invite allSenior Citizens to participate in Take and Make Crafts.

We have been discussing a way to continue our Senior Citizens Craft Classes and because of COVID we have decided to create take and make crafts in place of our normal craft classes each month starting this October.  This month’s craft will be a fall pumpkin door hanger (pictures provided).  Senior citizen crafters ages 55 and up are invited to stop by the library before Saturday, October 10th to pick up a craft bag.  Supplies are limited and registration is required, so if you would like to participate, please call the library at (304) 873-1941.

Storytime with Friends

2020 Virtual Plan

Doddridge County Public Library

We have been discussing a way to continue Storytime with Friends and because of COVID we have decided to implement a semi-virtual plan moving forward. We are inviting all kids ages 2-5 to participate!  We will be creating a take and make craft that coincides with a storytime theme for each week.  Parents or guardians can pick up their child’s craft each week before we read a virtual story each Friday, starting October 23rd.   We would like to have photos of completed crafts sent via messenger so we can edit (if needed) and post (with permission).  Registration is required, so please call the library at (304)873-1941 to register your child today.  Sign-ups are October 5th-16th.  Take and make bags can be picked up no later than Thursday, October 22nd.  Our first virtual Storytime will be on posted on Facebook on Friday, October 23rd.  Be sure to “like” our Facebook page to participate! Please call us with any questions. We look forward to “seeing” you all soon!
