Jeanette Gay Nicholson, 85 New Milton (Cold Water Community) departed this life on Monday, October 5, 2020 in Pine View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Harrisville. She was born on November 8, 1934 at Cold Water to the late Homer C. and Phyllis V. Swisher Nicholson.
Surviving are two sisters, Ersel Reed and husband Darrell, New Milton, Patricia Davidson and husband James, Salem, several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Norma Jean Woofter, five brothers, Homer Nicholson, Jr. C. Dale Nicholson, Hershel Nicholson, David Nicholson and Robert Joe Nicholson.
Jeanette was a member of Indian Fork Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, West Union on Saturday October 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Travis presiding. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. MAsks are to be worn and social Distancing will be practiced.
