On September 19, 2020, the citizens of Doddridge County gathered together at Tollgate, on the Ritchie County Line to hold a parade in honor of the Law Enforcement Officers in Doddridge County.
Traveling from The Doddrige County/Ritchie County Line to the Harrison County/Doddridge County Line then back to and through West Union were cars, turcks, fire trucks, motorcycles, work vehicles and various Law Enforcement vehicles.
Sponsored by the Doddridge County Historical Society, Patricia Harris, President, said the members of the DCHS felt they needed a way to let our Law Enforcement know that we appreciate all they do.
