From Adam Cheeseman — All Doddridge County Students Return to School on Monday Doddridge County Schools will return to its normal five days per week schedule Monday, September 21st. Currently, Doddridge County is Yellow in the State School Alert System Map. The county’s numbers have been trending down this week. Last Friday our district was at a 9.30 on the state metric and as of 10:00 A.M today we are at a 5.92.
This week a new color was added to the State School Alert System, the color Gold. The Gold color will permit students to attend school in person until a county reaches the 15 per 100,000 case rate. The School Alert System Map released at 5:00 O’Clock on Saturdays determines whether students can attend school the following week. Students that have chosen remote learning will continue to learn at home. As a county we will continue to monitor the data daily and work with our Health Department to provide the safest and healthiest option of learning for all students and staff.
