Marguerite Alicia Dombroski, 82 of Alum Bridge departed this life on Saturday, September 12, 2020 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. She was born on July 19, 1938 Long Branch, N.J. the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marguerite Sullivan Hawley. She was preceded in death by her husband James Dombroski in 2002.
Surviving are two sisters, Theresa Hawley, Getzville, N Y., Mary Snyder, Leonardo, N.J. and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Alicia Wire, two brothers, Bartholomew and Benjamin Hawley.
Mrs. Dombroski was a retired school teacher in the state of New Jersey with 20 years of service. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
A Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at St. Clara Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Gary Naegele as celebrant. The family recieved friends in the church one hour prior to Mass. Interment followed in the St. Clara Catholic Church Cemetery.
