Constance R. Bowen, 75, of Pennsboro, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.
Constance was born June 9, 1945 in Baltimore City, MD, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Alma Jean (Lipscomb) Isabella. She began her working career as a CNA in Maryland before becoming a seamstress in the garment industry. She worked in garment factories in both Doddridge and Ritchie Counties as well as in Maryland. Later in her life, Constance was a loving and devoted homemaker for her family. She loved crocheting and her life revolved around her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Constance J. Bowen (Charles) of Pennsboro, WV; son, James L. Bowen, Jr. (Theresa) of Cox’s Mills, WV; daughter in law, Kristen N. Bowen Richards of West Union, WV; grandchildren, Scot, Brandon, Shaun Jr., Jesse James, and Taylor Marie, and her brother, Salvatore Joseph Isabella of Baltimore, MD.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Bowen, Sr.; son, Shaun Bowen, and sister in law, Linda Isabella.
Graveside services took place 2:30pm, Monday, August 17, 2020, at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Jane Lew, WV. Visitation was held from 11am-1pm on Monday at the McCullough Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV.
