Questions About Coronavirus

Dear Editor,

Is this “deadly contagion” something to be feared?  Or, something used to control the masses?  In a world of 7.8 billion people, as of August 2nd, there have been 18,096,917 covid cases worldwide (.002 of the world’s people have contracted it), with 6,031,422 currently active cases.  Of those active cases, 99% are moderate and 1% are serious or critical.  Of the “closed” cases (those that have had an outcome), 94% recovered and 6% (690,042) resulted in death (according to admittedly inflated statistics).  Meanwhile, in 2020 we have had 7,627,228 communicable deaths total, with covid causing less than 10%.  Where is the hype for the other 90%?    What about treatment?

It is widely reported that doctors have cured even elderly and compromised patients with hydroxychloroquine and other common medicines.

Why does the FDA deny HCQ’s efficacy after Dr. Fauci’s National Institutes of Health reported in 2005 “that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells,” both as treatment and preventive. Why have certain governors banned its use?  Why are social media platforms censoring positive news about these cures?  (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1232869/)

   What about vaccines?

Bill Gates recently admitted that the flu vaccine is ineffectual for seniors.

We know that vaccines—especially those hurriedly created and rushed to market without testing—cause debilitating illnesses and death.  In 1976, a swine flu vaccine caused nearly 500 cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome and killed several people—all for a pandemic that never materialized.  To be on the safe side, the vaccine makers want indemnity for anything that might go wrong.  Do you want to take the risk for your family?

Then, there are all these things that Bill Gates has said and all the research that has been done in recent decades that make us concerned that vaccines will be outfitted with some technology to track us, possibly even change our DNA. I’d rather take my chances with the virus.

   What about masks?

The CDC report on “Emerging Infectious Diseases, Respiratory Viruses” (Vol 26, Number 5, May 2020, page 968) concluded, from a review of 10 studies of face masks, “that the use of face masks either by infected persons or by uninfected persons does not have a substantial effect on influenza transmission.”  (https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/articles/issue/26/5/table-of-contents)

Even though West Virginia law §61-6-22 prohibits wearing masks, hoods or face coverings in public, the unconstitutional and unenforceable government proclamations on masks continue. (http://www.wvlegislature.gov/WVCODE/code.cfm?chap=61&art=6#01)

   What do YOU think?

Is it about public health?  Is it political?  Is it about the election?  Is it about population control?  Do you feel like we are losing our freedoms?  A pandemic or a scamdemic?
