As many of you know the Governor has announced that September 8th, 2020 will be the official start date for students throughout the state. Our central office, in collaboration with our Board of Education, our school personnel, and the Doddridge County Health Department has been working diligently on our “Re-Entry Plan”. While we have many pieces of this plan in place we are continuing to monitor the situation and feel it is still too early to release our plan as school is still a couple of months away. The last thing we want to do is release a plan that will have to be “revised” or “changed” due to decisions made that are beyond our control. Please know that we will do all we can to ensure that our students, faculty, and parents are in the safest environment possible. With this said we are aiming at releasing the full fledge plan within the next few weeks once receive further guidance from the state level, specific to our situation in Doddridge County.
For the time being, please see the chart below that provides potential options that parents and guardians will have concerning the delivery of instruction. This will, at the very least, give parents/guardians an idea of the specific options they will have and perhaps help them in their decision. The chart attempts to give an overview of the delivery method and should answer some questions revolving around each method.
As always, please feel free to message, call me at 304-873-2300, or email me at [email protected]. I continue to feel fortunate to be apart of such an amazing community.
Be well,
Adam
Editor’s Note: It is understood the above plan is a tenative plan and could be changed as the COVID-19 situation changes.
