Celebrate Recovery Honors Nancy Stewart

At the Monday, July 6 meeting the CR leader ship surprised Nancy Stewart with a song and a plaque. “Nancy has been the driving force that has kept CR moving forward“ said Bill Clark who, along with Leonard Broadwater, presented the plaque on behalf of the whole leadership team. Even throughout the covid-19 crisis she has kept the doors open every Monday with a meal and an adjusted program. “Her Faith has created the riptide which has sucked the rest of us along”, stated Clark. The song, “House with a Crowded Table” was dedicated to Nancy. It was sung by the CR worship team, Sarah Schneider and Rachael Brady, as typifying her inclusive spirit and service through CR.

Anyone wishing to participate in this community outreach can call Nancy at 304-873-2929 or just show up at our free 5:30 pm Monday meal and following program at the West Union Christian Church at 1020 WV Rt. 18 N in West Union.
