Jack Cross, 67 of Sunnyside Rd. West Union departed this life on Sunday, July 12, 2020 in the Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney. He was born on July 2, 1953 in Morgantown a son of Virginia Flanigan Cross, West Union and the late Jack Cross. On March 15, 2019 he married Mary Lewis Cross who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Gregory “Ernie” Cross, West Union, one daughter, Jaclyn D. Melillo, West Union, one step son, Jason Lewis and wife Carrie, Fairmont, grandchildren, Ethan, Evan and Elias Cross, Dalton & Payton Melillo, step grandchildren, Meagan & Nathan Lewis, step great grandchildren, Jaxon and Izabella Tennant, one sister, Rebecca “Becky” Caloccia, Clarksburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Greg retired from the W.V. Division of Corrections & Rehabilitation Center as a Case Manager. He was an avid quilter and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, leatherworking and traveling. Greg enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be sadly missed. He was a member of the West Union Assembly of God.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joe Hoggard presiding. Interment will follow in the K of P Memorial Park.
