Betty Jean Hardbarger, 78, of New Milton, WV, died June 25, 2020 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Weston, WV.
She was born March 18, 1942 in Calhoun County, WV, the daughter of the late George and Glendora Selmon Smith Parsons.
Betty loved spending time with family and friends and she enjoyed sewing, cooking, quilting and her flowers.
She is survived by her children, Donna Jean Alfred (Eddie) of Vadis, David Hugh Hardbarger (Betty) of Vadis, John Clairmont Hardbarger of New Milton, Nancy Ann Rolf of Weston and Rebecca Jane Bell (Rollin) of Pennsboro; grandchildren, Jessica, Missy, Tameria, Paula (Link), Chris, Alfred, Amanda Triplet, Josh, Samantha, Kristin, Mike, Brian, Lisa and Rick; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Junior Hardbarger; sons, Thomas Lawrence Hardbarger and George Ricky Hardbarger; sisters, Audra and Joann; and great grandson, Christopher Alfred.
Graveside services were held at 2:30 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Chevauxdrefrise. Friends called at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville Tuesday from 11-2 PM.
