Linda Jean Campbell, 75, of Pullman, WV, departed this life on Friday, June 5, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born June 4, 1945 at home in Central Station, WV, a daughter of the late Paul E. and Sylvia G. (Dillon) James. She was a loving homemaker for her family and she also worked previously for the United Garment Factory in Harrisville, WV and for North Bend State Park in Cairo, WV. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and collecting things.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Campbell; daughter, Stephanie Knight and her husband Tracy of Oxford, WV; daughter in law, Kristie Campbell of Ellenboro, WV; 3 granddaughters, Emily, Chloe, and Jaycee Campbell;
3 grandsons, Logan and Cadan Campbell and Morgan Knight; 3 sisters, Joyce Hollis of Washington Courthouse, OH; Naomi Cunningham of Oxford, WV (Cabin Run); Barbara Reed of West Union, WV, and her brother, Lonnie James of Greenwood, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jason Campbell in 2012; sister Joan Evans, and brothers, Carl, Dewayne, and Emmit James.
Private graveside services will take place in the White Oak Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family. McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV is assisting the family with the arrangements.
The family requests that contributions in Linda’s name be made to the Ritchie County Humane Society.
