COMMISSION HOLDS SPECIAL MEETING

   The Doddridge County Commission held a Special Meeting on June 9, 2020 in the Magistrate’s Courtroom at 4:00PM. 

    The meeting was called to order at 4:01 PM by Ronald Travis, President, all of the Commissioners were present along with County Clerk Catee Slater, Chief Deputy Beth Kellar and Reporter Tammy Beamer. 

   There were three items on the agenda that were up for discussion, Consideration of Comp Time, Budget Revisions and Invoices. 

    Under Comp Time, it was explained that due to the restrictions of COVID-19,  the employees were unable to use their Comp Time as allowed. Beth Kellar, spoke to each of the Commissioners concerning each amount that was being claimed and the Commissioners approved paying the total of $55,050.47 in Comp Time to those who claimed it. 

    Under Budget Revisions Kellar presented an in-house budget revision moving $4000 from the Records Room Budget to to equipment.

     She then went with her request for a State Budget Revision of $53,000 for Comp Time, Circuit Clerk’s Office in the amount of $589.00, The Assessor’s Office in the amount of $15.00 and the Extension Office in the amount of $1714. The Budget Revision requests were approved. 

     Also moving $3250.00 into the County Clerk’s Election Fund  from Miscellanous and $11,750 from other funds to Community Collections. 

     There was one Invoice approved  and signed by the Commissioners.

     The meeting was adjourned at 4:15PM.
