Spring cleaning of the Center Point Cemetery begins in April. All decorations should be cleared from graves as soon as possible. Mowing begins no later than May. The volunteer Board of Trustees of the Cemetery Association is asking that all decorations on graves be removed in advance of the spring/summer mowing season. Grave owners need to order corner markers for their plots if none have been previously placed. Social Distancing should not be an issue for anyone while cleaning the graves. Donations to offset the cost of mowing and repairs as needed at the cemetery. They may be forwarded to Debra Matheny, Treasurer at 287 Village Green Rd., Salem, WV 26426-6030.
