Nathan Ralph Cunningham, 18, of West Union, WV (Oxford Community), departed this life on Sunday, April 5, 2020, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Nathan was born May 18, 2001 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Shawn and Shannon Cunningham of West Union, WV (Oxford Community) and the late Michelle (Tripp) Cunningham. He was a graduate of Doddridge County High School with the class of 2019 and was currently attending Fairmont State University. Nathan greatly loved hunting and fishing, anything mechanical, shooting guns, 4 wheeling and he was a member of the 304 Jeep Club.
In addition to his father and step mother, he is survived by his siblings, Kaleigh Dotson (Matthew) of Clarksburg, WV; Hannah Madia (Caleb) of Morgantown, WV; Kesslee Davis (Travis) of Salem, WV, and Gunnar Travis of Carrboro, NC; nieces and nephews, Hayden Dotson; Samuel Madia; Preslie & Duke Davis; grandparents, Naomi Cunningham of West Union, WV; Dena & Dusty Underwood of Salem, WV; Tom and Joanna Tripp of Plymouth, WI; uncle, Grant Cunningham of West Union, WV; aunts, Tessa Samer (Matt) of Morrisville, PA; Emily Sacchetta of Greenwood, WV; Kim Stoffel of Plymouth, WI; cousins, Tyler & Landon Cunningham of West Union, WV; Taylor Czyzewski of DE; Danielle Bolton of NJ; Nick Samer of Morrisville, PA, along with his many close friends.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Cunningham.
Due to the ongoing health concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, all services will be private. Nathan will be laid to rest in the Cunningham Family Cemetery on the family farm at the convenience of the family. McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro is assisting the family with the services.
