Marlyn Ruth Parker McIntyre

   Marlyn Ruth Parker McIntyre of Route 4, Salem, departed this life on Thursday, April 9, 2020.  She was born on Monday, June 1, 1936 in Reynoldsville, WV a daughter of the late Robert A. and Veryl Williams Parker.

   She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer R. McIntyre on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 whom she married September 9, 1961. Surviving are a daughter, Marci Fleck (Ron) of MD; a son, David McIntyre, of Route 4 Salem;  grandchildren:  Andrew Fleck of MD, Tara Patterson, Matthew (Chanda), and Caleb (Shayla) McIntyre; and great-grandchildren Savanna, Colton, and Brynlee Patterson; Braylen Kirk, Gracie and Mila McIntyre; Braxton and Caleb McIntyre; a brother, William (Marge) Parker of Beckley.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Jean Conley Diddle, a brother James R. (Bob) Parker and her best friend of 30 years, Marie Flanigan.

   She was a member of Reynoldsville Baptist Church, a graduate of Victory High School class of 1954 and attended West Virginia Business College.  Her Hobbies were listening to Southern Gospel Music, genealogy, and working with family photographs.

   Private graveside service will be conducted in the Coplin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:  Clarksburg Gideon Camp, P.O. Box 2075, Clarksburg, WV 26302-2075.
