Larry Dale Crislip, 60 of Rock Run Rd. West Union formerly of Burnsville departed this life on Saturday, April 11, 2020 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport following an extended illness. He was born on April 5, 1960 in Sutton a son of the late William R. “Bill” and Amelia June Linger Crislip.
Surviving are his companion and the love of his life of 37 year’s Carol Thomas, West Union, brother, Terry Crislip and wife Margie, Burnsville, nephews, Steven Crislip and Robbie Godfrey, nieces, Jenna Boyd, Jackie Shreeves, Julie Crislip and Debra Godfrey. One brother, Jerry Crislip, and one sister, Debra Godfrey preceded him in death.
Larry was a lineman for T.A. Chapman and Grafton Coal for many years. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Larry liked to go yard sales and never got in a hurry. He was excellent at woodworking and could make anything. Larry had so many good qualities and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
