The Doddridge County Public Library will close starting Friday, March 20, 2020 until further notice. This difficult decision was made by our library board in part because of local and state advisement regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, but especially because of a strong recommendation from the The Association for Rural & Small Libraries. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and we deeply regret closing our doors but we want to do our part to protect the public and our staff. During this time, you can still return materials through our night drop, though overdue items and/or fines will not be assessed. We encourage you to use our online digital resources. You can download eBooks through WVREADS, using the Overdrive App. We are continually monitoring the situation, and will be re-evaluating both programing and other aspects of our services as the situation evolves so please follow us on Facebook for all library updates.
